About this policy

Pixettle is a macOS image converter published by alakaza, based in France. This policy describes how the Pixettle application handles information.

Your images stay on your Mac

Pixettle processes the image files you select locally on your Mac. It does not upload images, filenames, image metadata or converted files to alakaza or to a remote conversion service. No account or internet connection is required to convert images.

File access and saved copies

Pixettle uses macOS file selection and drag-and-drop to access the images you choose, and saves converted copies to your selected destination. The app is sandboxed with access to user-selected files and folders. Originals are not modified, and existing files are not overwritten. Saved copies remain in your chosen folder until you manage or delete them.

Image metadata

Pixettle reads image properties locally to decode the image and apply its orientation. Exported copies omit embedded camera and location metadata. This does not remove information visible within the image itself or change metadata in the original file.

No in-app tracking

The Pixettle application does not include advertising, analytics, tracking SDKs, an account system or a developer-operated crash-reporting service. Alakaza does not receive personal data through the application’s conversion workflow.

Services you choose separately

If you select a destination synchronized by iCloud Drive or another storage provider, that provider may synchronize the saved files according to your settings and its own privacy policy. App Store downloads and any diagnostic sharing you enable through Apple are governed separately by Apple’s settings and policies.

If you contact support

If you email contact@alakaza.app, alakaza receives your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. This is separate from the application’s local conversion workflow. Please avoid sending sensitive photos, passwords or information that is not needed to explain your question. You can use the same address to ask about your correspondence or request its deletion.

Your choices

You control which files Pixettle opens and where it saves converted images. You can remove files from the app’s queue and manage or delete originals and converted copies in Finder. There is no Pixettle online account to close or server-side image library to delete.

Policy updates

Updates to this policy will be published on this page with a revised date. App behavior and this policy will be reviewed together when Pixettle changes.
