About this policy
Pagivelle is a macOS PDF toolkit published by alakaza, based in France. This policy describes how the application handles information. Contact contact@alakaza.app for privacy questions.
Local document processing
Pagivelle reads and processes the PDF files you choose entirely on your Mac. It does not transmit document contents, extracted text, previews, filenames, or metadata to alakaza or a remote processing service. No account or internet connection is required for PDF operations.
Files and previews
The sandboxed app accesses user-selected files and folders through macOS file pickers, drag-and-drop, or Open With. Previews and the document queue are held locally while the app is open. Pagivelle does not maintain an online document library.
Saved copies and document information
Each operation creates new files in a new folder inside your chosen destination. Originals and existing files are not overwritten. Page editing can preserve text, annotations, and other information from the source. Compression creates image-based pages but does not remove sensitive information visible on those pages. Pagivelle is not a redaction or anonymization tool.
Temporary and interrupted output
Output files are written locally in the run folder. Cancellation and processing errors attempt to remove that folder. A crash, forced quit, disconnected drive, or system interruption may leave incomplete files. Saved copies and any incomplete folders remain until you manage or delete them in Finder.
No tracking or developer collection
Pagivelle contains no advertising, analytics or tracking SDK, account system, upload service, or developer-operated crash reporting. Alakaza does not receive personal data through the app’s processing workflow.
Services you choose separately
A destination synchronized by iCloud Drive or another provider may sync output according to that provider’s settings and privacy policy. Sharing files in other apps is governed by those services. App Store purchases, downloads, and diagnostic sharing enabled through Apple are handled separately by Apple.
If you contact support
If you email contact@alakaza.app, alakaza receives your address, message, and attachments to respond to your request. This is separate from local PDF processing. Avoid sending sensitive documents or unnecessary personal information. You may use the same address to request deletion of your support correspondence.
Your choices and policy updates
You choose the files, tools, and destination folder. You can clear the queue and manage saved files in Finder. There is no Pagivelle online account to close or server-side document library to delete. Policy changes will appear on this page with a revised date.
